We had a unique experience staying in an old train at Train Lodge. It was a chill place where we encountered travelers from different countries, creating an open-minded atmosphere. The common hangout and patio areas had a great vibe and aesthetic. The location was convenient, being close to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, which provided easy access to Amsterdam Centraal.

We had a fantastic stay at this quirky and fun hostel. the location was perfect, right outside the train station and only a short ride away from the city center. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cleaning team did an amazing job keeping everything tidy. the beds were comfortable, the showers were great with nice hot water, and the heating in the hostel was perfect. We loved that they had a microwave to use and the option to store small electronics at the reception. there were grocery stores and public transport options conveniently located nearby. a great experience!

The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the blankets were soft and warm. the cleanliness of the showers and toilets was impressive, and there were enough hooks to hang our towels and clothes. the 24/7 friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room was a bit small, especially for taller individuals. the blinds didn't close completely, so a small strip of light seeped into the room at night.
