We had a fantastic New Year's experience at this hotel! The views from our room were absolutely stunning, with breathtaking sunsets over the volcano. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with excursion options and helping coordinate transportation. We also appreciated the mosquito net and fan provided, as they were much needed in the tropical climate. the honesty system for getting a cold drink was a convenient and trust-based system that we enjoyed.

There were a couple of aspects that were slightly disappointing during our stay. First, there was a miscommunication regarding the taxi transport fee, which resulted in us having to pay for a service that we didn't use.

We had an amazing time staying at this unique hotel deep in the lush forest. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the beautiful view of the volcano from our room was unforgettable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We loved the delicious breakfast options, especially the pancakes and omelette. The communal kitchen with free fruit and coconuts was a nice surprise. The tree houses were clean, cute, and equipped with everything we needed, including stable wifi and electricity.

While bugs are unavoidable in such a natural setting, the mosquito net in the room could have been a bit firmer to keep them out more effectively.

I recently stayed at La Bambouseraie for a few nights and it was an incredible experience. The staff, especially Megan, were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, surrounded by stunning views. The bamboo bungalows were serene and private, with thoughtful details like Bluetooth speakers and hammocks. The central kitchen area serves delicious food and offers opportunities for socializing. I highly recommend staying here for a unique and relaxing nature getaway.
