We had a fantastic stay at Hostel Montana. the rooms were recently renovated and very clean, with private bathrooms in each room. the common room was spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils we needed for cooking. the staff went above and beyond by preparing a to-go breakfast for us since we had to check out early. the location was convenient, just a short 10-minute bus ride to the city center. Plus, the included breakfast was a great value considering the high cost of food in Norway. We highly recommend Hostel Montana for a comfortable and affordable stay in Bergen.

The location of the hostel was ideal, right at the start of the challenging Ulriken mountain trail. The self-service washer-dryer in the basement was a life saver. The view from our window was breathtaking, overlooking the entire city like a high-class hotel. The hostel also offered a varied breakfast and organized daily activities like hikes. Free parking for guests and the convenient location were also big pluses.
