During my stay at Carlton Hotel, I was impressed by the commitment to environmental sustainability, reflecting Guldsmeden's philosophy. The decor was welcoming and the location was perfect - centrally located yet peaceful. The two adjoining rooms with their own bathrooms provided my family with the independence we desired. Despite the small size of the rooms, they were cozy and comfortable. The manager's kind gesture of giving my brother and me sweets and apologizing for the inconveniences showed great customer service. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

It was like coming home. the hotel has a warm, welcoming feel and the rustic yet stylish decor throughout is beautifully done. the location is great, near Aker Brygge and a short walk to the Palace Gardens. the breakfast was tasty and the restaurant was convenient when we didn't feel like going out in the evening. the staff were exceptionally friendly. We highly recommend Guldsmeden and would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at a charming boutique hotel in Oslo. The location was perfect, near the city center and close to the harbor. It was situated in a nice quiet area, yet everything was within short walking distance. The room I stayed in was quirky and had a well-designed bathroom with eco-friendly products. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing good tourism advice and arranging transportation. The breakfast was delicious and worth the extra cost. it was a great experience.

I wish there were more bath towels available in the room.

We loved this place for its fantastic location in a nice area of the city. It's conveniently close to the tram stop and the beautiful harbor area. The service was great, and the staff members were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the welcome drink, and our room was equipped with useful amenities like ironing facilities and an am/fm alarm clock. The spa & wellness centre was an added bonus, with a sauna, steam room, and Turkish bath available.

Recommend this hotel to anyone! The snack bar and dining restaurant were great, and we appreciated the option for special diet menus.

the organic breakfast at guldsmeden was absolutely incredible, the fresh fruit and granola were to die for. the staff were so helpful in sorting out our return travel. i can't wait to book with this hotel chain again.

The complementary breakfast was really tasty, and there were quite a few organic options too. the location was perfect, only a few steps from the bus and tram station, and close to many tourist attractions. the staff was really friendly and welcoming.

The room was really small and cramped, barely enough room to move around in. the heating in the room was insufficient, and we were freezing throughout the night.
