During my Easter stay at this hotel, I was impressed by the beautifully refurbished building with its high ceilings and elegant decor. the location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the waterfront and the bustling shopping street. the abundance of nearby restaurants made it easy to find a delicious meal. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of cold and hot options to choose from.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. the hotel operates without any staff present, which gives it more of a bed and breakfast feel rather than a full-service hotel.

We had a great stay at Banken! the bar was fantastic, with a shuffleboard table for some fun entertainment. the breakfast spread was lovely, with a full English breakfast, yogurt, cereal, fresh bread, juice. the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and even went above and beyond by informing us when my brother's delayed suitcase was ready for pick-up, even after we had checked out. the hotel's location in a former bank building added a unique touch, and the reception area was beautiful.
