This hotel offers great value for money, with large rooms and a four poster bed. The location is excellent for enjoying the beautiful surroundings and going on walks in the adjacent countryside. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is really nice, with generous servings of toast, tea, and coffee. The basic amenities are all provided, and there is even a good selection of cereals including vegan and veggie options.

The only minor improvement needed was with the bathroom being a bit cold.

We stayed at a hotel located on a main road, which made it convenient for us to explore the nearby villages. The hotel had beautiful gardens and the surrounding area was simply stunning. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a balcony with a fantastic view. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of towels provided. The staff provided great service and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant on-site, with good quality food and a cozy atmosphere.

There was one downside - the shower in our room had some issues, making it difficult for us to have a proper shower.

We had a wonderful experience at a charming B&B tucked away in the beautiful lakes. The stunning views and friendly atmosphere made our stay truly memorable. The food was delicious and set us up for the day. The best part was watching the badgers, just as we had hoped. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Had a great stay during Thanksgiving! the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the walk in shower in the lovely and warm room. Found the bar cozy and perfect for drinks. the lunch and dinner had a good selection of delicious pub food too. the nearby location made it easy to explore the surrounding areas on foot. A nice bonus was the complementary Badger Cam experience.

While the room was nice, we felt that the door was not secure enough. the price was a bit steep for what was offered.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the beautiful walking trails in the area. With easy access to stunning Rydal lake and being close to top local attractions, it was a great base for our September trip to the Lakes. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast offered good portions and well-cooked food.

One negative aspect was that the evening food at the hotel was a bit expensive for what we received, so it may be worth considering dining elsewhere.

I recently stayed at Glen Rothay B&B for a weekend getaway. The breakfast was superb, with locally sourced produce that was tasty and plentiful. Our room, Dora's Room, was fabulous, with a gorgeous bathroom offering stunning lake views. The staff, including Abbey, Alex, Katie, and Vinny. The location was fantastic, perfect for beautiful walks in every direction. a truly enjoyable stay.

Clean cottage, separate from main building. Room 11, Otter, had two bedrooms, nice and clean. Friendly staff, great breakfast options. Bonus: saw Badgers feeding. Convenient location for Eastern side of Lake District.
