The breathtaking views of the fjord from the cozy lounge truly made my stay memorable, especially while enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.

The dinner menu was somewhat limited to an expensive three-course option, which made it challenging to dine there more than once during my stay.

Dinner was outstanding, with locally sourced dishes that made each meal an adventure. The evening discussions about the hotel's history were engaging, adding a unique charm to our stay. Plus, the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking!

However, being a wood structure means you might hear your neighbors, enough to possibly steal sleep from light sleepers. They kindly provide earplugs, though, so you can still enjoy the rest of the hotel's magic!

Amazing spot right on the fjord! We had a Standard Twin Room with Mountain View, loved the comfy beds and nice decorations. Got body soap, shampoo, and towels in the clean private bathroom. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. Perfect for chilling after exploring the glaciers. Breakfast could be better, though.

The wooden building lacks noise insulation, making it challenging for light sleepers as footsteps and movement from nearby rooms are clearly audible.

the fjord views were nice, but I was absolutely shocked at the over-the-top expensive dinners. and don't even get me started on the cramped rooms and shower with weak pressure! I almost gave a good review, but I expected at least a complimentary dinner or something to compensate for everything. such a disappointment!

Man, we arrived and saw dolphins playing outside—like, actual magic! The room was comfy with stunning views. Brekkie was a lekker selection of local goodies. Plus, the host shared awesome stories just before dinner, really added to the vibe. We felt so welcomed!
