The dinner service and breakfast were delicious, exceeding our expectations. Despite the small size of the rooms, they were cozy and comfortable. The attentive service provided by the staff made our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for its old world charm and great location.

Nice room with a good view. They granted my elevator request during check-in. Buffet breakfast had a variety of dishes including caviar and salmon. Had a pleasant and expensive dinner with attentive service.

We had an amazing time staying in a hotel that was strategically located near the Flam railway that took us up the mountains. It was a bit rundown but had lots of character. The service was topnotch, and the staff were very warm and efficient. Breakfast was great, and the view from our room facing down the fjord was breathtaking. Our room was well equipped with all necessary facilities; we had everything we needed.

We were a bit disappointed that some things needed maintenance, especially the bathroom and plumbing aspects.

One minor issue was that the historic rooms lacked TVs, although this was not a significant problem for us. we had an unpleasant dining experience due to a rude waiter who poured our wine sparingly, overcharged us for our children, and provided poor service.
