The hotel is housed in a beautifully converted building with a delightful ambience. The location overlooking the water offers a pleasant view. The breakfast is superb and the restaurant is excellent, offering a fabulous tasting menu. The room design is impressive, with first-class bathroom and shower fittings. The availability of hot water flask and shower toiletries is a nice touch.

We loved the central location, right by a picturesque canal with lovely garden furniture. The service was impeccable, with staff always available and attentive. The room had everything we needed, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee amenities, and a comfortable sitting area. There was a sauna and leisure room available for our use, as well as a fitness center and off-site car park.

Amazing location, spectacular interior, cozy evenings by the fireplace, good breakfast with fish dishes, nice personnel, functional and clean rooms.

The renovated interior of this old building is creative and impressive. Every detail is in the perfect place and the ambience is top-notch. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is hearty. The hotel occupies beautiful old warehouses along the river and offers a simple supper every day.

Loved sitting in the Lounge and jotting down presentation ideas while enjoying the view of the busy fishing happening in the middle of town. Met friendly, stubborn locals at Arkivet Bar. Ålesund's combination of heritage and modern vibe was captivating.

Such a shame the fjords and mountains couldn't meet the ocean without interrupting my view.

The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety to choose from. the staff was friendly and helpful with directions to restaurants in the area. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to all the tourist attractions.

I had trouble finding a parking spot near the hotel, which made it a bit of an inconvenience. the room I stayed in was a bit on the small side, with not much extra room for my luggage.

stayed in alesund before, but brosundet blew me away! loved the cozy salons, perfect for relaxing. the location was excellent and breakfast was superb. the staff were friendly and helpful. will definitely be back!
