I had the most magical experience staying at the Igloo Hotel in Alta. The ice sculptures were absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't believe the intricate details and skill that went into creating them. The ice bar was such a unique and beautiful experience, sipping drinks from ice glasses and sitting on ice benches. The staff were incredibly hospitable and made me feel like a child again with their excitement about the hotel. The gourmet dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and I loved the simple yet chic wooden interior. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for a truly unforgettable experience.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better - it was isolated and surrounded by stunning scenery. the giant ice sculptures and the artistry on the walls of the hotel were two of the best parts of our trip. Being in a warm hot tub outside in the beautiful snowy landscape was magical.

We found the sleeping area to be very cold and uncomfortable. We didn't sleep much and had to wear multiple layers of clothing to keep ourselves warm.

We loved the beautiful and unique experience of staying in an igloo at this hotel. The restaurant served delicious and refined food, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel had lots of activities to enjoy.

During our stay at the Sorrisniva Igloo, we were amazed by the incredible ice sculptures and the unique design of the hotel. The ice bar was especially impressive, with its massive ice counter and soothing music setting the perfect ambiance. Although we didn't get a chance to enjoy a drink there, we were still in awe of the craftsmanship. The highlight of our stay was the dinner at the restaurant, where we were treated to top-notch food and exceptional service. The flavors were exquisite, showcasing local specialties that truly delighted our taste buds. We were even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing Northern Lights just outside the hotel before we went to sleep. Despite the cold temperatures, the warm sleeping bags, blankets, and reindeer skins provided ensured a comfortable and memorable night's sleep. The experience of sleeping in an igloo made entirely out of ice was not as challenging as we expected, thanks to the thoughtfulness in providing the necessary comforts. Although the breakfast was not as impressive as dinner, it still provided a satisfactory start to the day. the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel delivered a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience that we would highly recommend.

The hotel had great facilities, including a common room with games and a sauna. The complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. The tour of the ice hotel was amazing, and being able to walk through it before the crowds was a unique experience. The dinner at the hotel was exceptional, with delicious Norwegian dishes and excellent service. The highlight was definitely seeing the Northern Lights by the lake.

The bed in the hotel room was uneven and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep properly. It was disappointing that we had to pay to use the outdoor jacuzzi, as it would have been a nice addition to our romantic escape.

This hotel is a unique and unforgettable experience. the ice part of the venue is truly impressive, with beautiful sculptures and intricate details. the log burners and sauna in the main building are a welcome and luxurious touch after spending a night in the ice rooms. the restaurant offers delicious, cooked-to-order meals and attentive service. the lounge area is cozy and perfect for relaxing with a drink after a day of outdoor activities.

The communal showers and toilets in the sauna area could have been cleaner and more private. this was a minor issue and did not detract from the overall experience of the hotel.

Amazing location on Alta River, 22 km from town. Expensive but worth it for once-in-a-lifetime experience. Well-heated main building with lounge, dining room, and facilities. Ice hotel has Viking theme, beautiful sculptures, and ice bar. Ice bedrooms kept at -5 degrees, warmer than outside.

I had an amazing stay at the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel. It was a unique experience, perfect for a one-night adventure. The owner went above and beyond, taking us out on snowmobiles and helping us get dressed. The hotel was clean, relaxing, and very accommodating. The ice carvings and wall art were impressive, and the ice bed with reindeer skins was surprisingly cozy. With only a few couples staying the night, it felt intimate and special. a truly unforgettable experience.
