During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the super clean and tidy rooms at this motel. The spacious living area and bathroom were perfect for my needs. the fully equipped kitchen allowed me to cook my own meals, giving me a cozy and homely feeling. The friendly and welcoming service added to the overall positive experience.

Although the motel was great, I found the location a bit inconvenient. It was a bit of a walk to the main part of town, so having a car would have made things easier.

We had a delightful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Abbey Court Motel. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with all the amenities we needed. The owner was friendly and informative, making us feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, and the AC was a relief on hot nights. We appreciated the nice touches like chocolates and folded towels. The location was peaceful, and we loved having the option to dine in the garden. this was one of our best stays in the South Island. We will definitely be returning next year.

While the room was exceptional, one minor drawback was that the blinds did not completely cover the large window, which compromised privacy at night when the lights were on. Additionally, the shower could have been hotter.

Compact property, tricky parking, but enjoyed sitting on the private decking. Room comfortable and spotlessly clean. Friendly host, conveniently close to nature activities and takeaway options. Convenient drive to town center.

Had a great Christmas vacation, enjoyed the laundry facilities which were clean, easy to access, and much appreciated. Relaxed in the calm environment of the hotel garden, complete with BBQ and picnic tables. the porch with a small table was convenient to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the location was central with great restaurant recommendations close by.

We had some noise disturbance, which was a bit unpleasant especially considering we were trying to relax. we found that the room was a bit small and cramped for our liking.

We were really impressed with the accommodation we booked in this city. the host was super friendly and had our room ready early as our flight arrived in the morning. the rooms were spotlessly clean, and we loved the fact that our room was more like a 2 bedroom apartment with a spacious lounge area and a well-appointed kitchen. the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had lovely fluffy towels. Another advantage was the covered patio area with outdoor furniture, perfect to enjoy the beautiful weather.

The only thing we found disappointing was the fact that towels were changed nearly every day. We would have been happy to reuse them for a few days, especially considering the water shortages in the area.
