I absolutely loved staying at this motel and lodge in Arthur's Pass. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, giving it a modern and cozy feel. The facilities on-site were top-notch, with a shared common space and kitchen that were clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect, right across from the only store and petrol station in the village, making it convenient for any last-minute needs. As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, this place was ideal for me.

I recently stayed at a brand-new accommodation in the centre of Arthurs Pass called Motel & Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience there. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the common kitchen was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed having a Bluetooth radio in my room. The owners were friendly and relaxed, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They even did my laundry, drying, and ironing for free. The shower was by far the best I've ever used. Despite the heavy rain throughout my stay, I had a wonderful time at Motel & Lodge.

The motel is perfectly located right in the middle of the village, making it convenient to explore the surroundings. It is also situated right next to the only two cafes in the area, so grabbing a quick bite or a cup of coffee is very easy. Additionally, it offers a breathtaking view of the mountains, providing a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant stay.

There was a possum lurking around, which raised some safety concerns, but as long as we stayed vigilant and kept our doors closed, it wasn't too much of an issue. The lack of TV and aircon in the sleeping space was a minor drawback, but it wasn't a necessity anyway.

The complementary shampoos and soaps were a nice touch, and the beds were comfortable. The location was great, just a short walk away from the town center and the river. The view from the room was breathtaking, with snow-capped mountains in the distance. It was great to wake up to such a beautiful view during the holiday.

The walls were paper thin and the traffic noise from the nearby road was bothersome. Another issue was that the rooms didn't have proper soundproofing, and we could clearly hear our neighbors talking.

loved our stay here! the room was upscale and cozy, with beautiful furnishings and a great location in the village. the staff was so accommodating, leaving a note and key for us when we arrived late. the walking trails right outside the door were a bonus.

We stayed at the lodge for one night and it was perfect. The manager, Deb, was fantastic and even picked us up from the station. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of an electric blanket. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and clean, and it was great to chat with other guests while preparing meals. The lodge's location was superb, with a restaurant next door and shops and cafes just across the road. Plus, it was conveniently close to the train station and walking tracks.

Would recommend this hotel.
