We had a wonderful stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn! the room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities we needed. the staff were friendly and always ready to help. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the subway and bus station, as well as the bustling shopping and dining street and the famous Nishiki Markets. We especially loved the thoughtful design touches, like the smart phone charger provided in the room. it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel lacks a scenic view from the rooms.

the location was fantastic, as it was within walking distance from the station and right above the subway station on Kyoto's main subway line. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Secondly, the staff were excellent, speaking very good English and being extremely helpful and friendly. I particularly appreciated their attentiveness and care when I fell ill during my trip. Finally, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with cubicle bathrooms that were functional and well-maintained. I was impressed with this hotel's value for money and attention to detail.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! the location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and shopping areas. And the nearby bus stand made it even easier to get around. the room was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for our romantic escape. the unlimited supply of tea and coffee at the lobby was a nice bonus as well.

While we had a fantastic stay overall, there were a couple of minor downsides. the size of the room was a bit small, which made it a bit challenging to fit our luggage.

The hotel had a super comfy bed that came with waffle pajamas, and they provided toiletries like shampoo and toothpaste! Plus, they had a really great breakfast with delicious Japanese options. the location was ideal as it was close to important landmarks and the public transport system.

The room we stayed in was small and a bit cramped, so it was difficult to fit more than one or two pieces of luggage. there was no opportunity to shower before we checked out on the last day, so we had to leave feeling a bit sticky and sweaty.

The double room was clean and spacious, bigger than most Japanese hotels. It had a fresh scent and the bed was comfortable. the hotel also provided luggage storage, which was convenient for our early check-in. the location was great, close to a subway station and rail station, making it easy to explore attractions in both Kyoto and Osaka. the hotel had thoughtful amenities like a smart phone charger and a bathroom with more space than usual.

Disliked aspects: Finding the hotel was a bit challenging as the entrance was narrow and hard to locate. the room itself was on the smaller side, even by Japanese standards.

The hotel provided a variety of pillows, allowing us to choose the perfect one for a good night's sleep. The daily replenishment of room amenities and complimentary skincare products in the lobby were nice touches. We also enjoyed the free coffee and tea available in the lobby during the afternoon and evening.

While checking in, we had requested two rooms next to each other as we were a family. Although the initial allocation was on different floors, the staff eventually accommodated us on the same floor, although not adjacent.

Excellent location, steps from major attractions and shopping, above subway station, lots of great restaurants, comfortable and spacious room, helpful staff.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Kyoto. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train stations, giving me easy access to different parts of the city. The staff at the reception were friendly and spoke fluent English, making the check-in process smooth. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable, with great air conditioning to come home to after a long day exploring Kyoto's summer heat. The room seemed new and smelled very clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail with the amenities provided. it was a pleasant stay in a great location.
