We had an incredible time at this lodge. The room was spacious and had stunning views. The thermal pool in our private courtyard was a definite highlight - so relaxing and we loved being able to fill it ourselves. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the well-equipped kitchen was a bonus. Can't wait to come back! highly recommended.

Located close to the shore of Lake Taupo, the hotel offered a convenient base for exploring the area. The proximity to eateries allowed us a variety of dining options, and the shopping centers were just a short stroll away. The room was clean and well laid out, with a lovely view of the lake. The friendly operators provided excellent service, and the breakfast was served with nice little extra touches. We particularly enjoyed the heated pool and plunge pool available for our use.

Noise from adjacent rooms being serviced in the morning disrupted our peaceful stay.

The location was perfect, with easy access to the beautiful lake for swimming and the main restaurants. We also appreciated the convenience of being near the supermarket. this hotel provided us with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The location was fantastic, just across the road from the lake, and close to all the restaurants. We appreciated the excellent service, from room cleaning to the lovely staff who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed, including a kitchen and outdoor dining area. The heated swimming pool and garden were also delightful, providing a great way to relax after a long day.

Rooms were impeccably clean and smelled very fresh. the staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. We also loved the fact that they offered complimentary underfloor heating and a spa bath in the room. the view from the terrace was stunning and it was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy our evening.

Parking spots were not allocated, leading to an issue with finding a parking spot on busy days. the location was a bit far from some of the main restaurants and supermarkets, which could be challenging for those without a car.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Baycrest Thermal Lodge. The 1br apartment was beautifully appointed and spacious, with a nice view of the lake. The bathroom was especially nice, with a lovely spa. The wifi and tv cable channels were great, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The breakfast brought to the room was fantastic, and we enjoyed eating it on the balcony with a stunning view.

Although the stay was amazing, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The parking spots were not allocated and quite tight, so finding a space closer to our suite was a challenge.

stayed in taupo before but baycrest thermal lodge was the best! amazing lake views, comfy beds, and a heated pool the kids loved. friendly staff and all amenities. highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at a peaceful retreat with beautiful mountain views. The room was spacious and the supersize bed was incredibly comfortable. The spa bath was a luxurious touch. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful. we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.
