My stay at Beaufort House Akaroa was absolutely wonderful. The hosts, Sharon and Noel, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and enjoyment during my visit. The breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I also loved the evening drinks and nibbles, which provided a great opportunity to meet and socialize with the other guests. The Victorian design and layout of the B&B added a charming touch to the experience. I had a fantastic time and highly recommend Beaufort House Akaroa for anyone visiting the area.

The B&B is nestled in a beautiful scenic area and surrounded by abundant gardens, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with lovely views of the gardens and countryside. The hosts, Sharon and Noel, are welcoming and attentive, making sure guests have a delightful stay. The breakfast options are diverse, including delicious Bircher muesli, fresh fruit, and a cooked breakfast made to order.

The hotel had set such a high standard that it made it difficult for other hotels during the rest of the holiday to live up to.

This venue is one of the most luxurious B&Bs we have stayed in. From the exquisite garden area to the grand staircase leading to the comfortable and stylish rooms, every detail is attended to. The private facilities in the rooms were outstanding, with exclusive amenities such as high-end linens, plush towels, and high-quality toiletries. The attentive service provided by the hosts, including pre-dinner drinks and nibbles in the leisure/TV room, was exceptional.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was the lack of a sun terrace. However, this was more than compensated for by the beautiful garden area, where we could relax and enjoy the exclusive amenities provided by this hotel.

Delightful breakfast with a wide variety of dishes and a friendly host who offered us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. The surroundings were stunning and well-kept. Perfect location to explore the city's nearby attractions.

The room was not what we expected, the decor was old and outdated, it felt stuffy and cramped. The bedding and furnishings were in desperate need of updates and repairs.

The staff, especially Sarah, provided excellent service, offering us canapes and checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
