Beautifully decorated studio, quiet leafy setting, easy walk to main street with great dining options and shops, warm and comfortable with softest sheets, wonderful breakfast.

Comfortable bed, beautiful linen, stream sounds and sight. Small but well-equipped room, clean and cosy. Soft bed, lots of quilts, and quiet surroundings. Enjoyed watching Sky TV and had a warm shower. Immaculately clean accommodation with great attention to detail. Excellent value for money, better than other options in the North Island.

We had an incredible stay at this small but superb family-run motel. The hosts, Yvonne and her team, truly made us feel welcome and the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They have thought of everything to make our stay easy, including a well-equipped kitchen/dining area and a detailed write-up about local amenities and attractions. We were sad we couldn't stay longer, but we highly recommend this place for its warm hospitality. The motel's location in Thames is also convenient for visiting the Miranda Bird Sanctuary, which is definitely worth a visit.

This mini suite at Brookby Motel had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a TV with a wide variety of channels. The rooms also had lovely decks overlooking a charming stream and garden. It was a short walk to the main part of town with shopping and restaurants available.

Great central location, close to key attractions and amenities. The decor was refreshing and made us feel at home. The cleanliness and attention to detail were commendable. We appreciated the generous provision of bathroom toiletries in dispensers rather than small bars or bottles. The coffee and Milo tins were a nice touch, showing that the motel did not skimp on providing the essentials. Definitely value for money.

It was extremely tight and challenging to maneuver our vehicle onto the property. It would have been better if there was more space allocated for parking.

We recently stayed at the Brookby Motel in Thames for a quick overnight business trip. The owners were incredibly friendly and our room was absolutely beautiful. The highlight for us was the wide selection of television channels available. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to the Coromandel, as the cleanliness and service excellence of this hotel exceeded our expectations.

I had a fabulous stay at this motel! The location is excellent, just a short walk to the main street where there are great dining options and lots of great shops to browse through. The room was very clean and comfortable, with modern furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom had excellent facilities and the service from the owner was warm and welcoming. I also enjoyed the peaceful view of the river from my room.

That the parking spaces were a tight squeeze.

We stayed in room 6 with our small daughter and the owner provided a cot and toys for her. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a lovely patio. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The hotel had free internet and the owner even provided us with extra kitchen equipment. it was a great stay and we would recommend it to everyone.

The location was perfect, just behind the main shopping street, with a soothing stream running alongside the complex. The staff were very helpful and the guest information provided was informative. Excellent value for money, highly recommend!
