As young holiday goers, we loved the outstanding welcome and personalized assistance with directions and local events. The room was clean and well-appointed with quality products, and there were convenient amenities like umbrellas for the wet weather. The location was great, with easy access to eateries and a lovely walk along the Avon River to the Market. Top notch service all around.

Just what we needed! After a tiring tour bus trip, Colombo In The City provided us with a spacious and clean room. The well-stocked kitchenette and free WiFi were a pleasant bonus. The friendly owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even helped us with local recommendations. Despite being a bit of a walk from the city center, the convenient location near Re: start and the airport shuttle service made up for it. We fell in love with Christchurch, thanks to Colombo In The City. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this motel is fantastic, as it is very close to the centre of Christchurch. It is also conveniently near the airport, making it perfect for travelers. The hotel offered a nice and affordable continental breakfast, and the staff was extremely helpful with giving information about the surrounding area. The hotel is located walking distance from a supermarket and the city center. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.

The windows lacked net/voile curtains, which made it difficult to have privacy with people walking by outside. The hotel was a bit far from the main attractions in the area.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was warm, which was perfect for our July stay. The staff were helpful, recommending places to eat and providing a useful map of the local area. The availability of a spa bath was a great bonus.

This hotel is an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the impeccable service. The housekeeping is remarkable, the amenities are exclusive, and the staff are attentive to all our needs. The location is very advantageous, being a short stroll from the city centre. We were amazed by the earthquake-resistant design and inspired by the rebuilding efforts.

The only minor issue we faced was that the pillows were too thick for my sore neck, but the staff quickly found us thinner ones to use instead. Apart from that, our stay at this hotel was flawless.
