The location of this hostel was great, with stunning views of the mountains right in front and the river nearby. It was also conveniently located to explore the local area and visit various sites. The room I stayed in was basic but comfortable, and the free wifi was a plus. The friendly owners provided good service and even allowed me to update my navigator inside.

Some backpackers in the shared kitchen were noisy late at night, which can be bothersome.

We loved the well-stocked kitchen, spacious lounge, and dining area with TV. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the Ahuriri valley and Lake Oahu. The bed in the double room was comfortable and the shared kitchen had everything we needed. a pleasant surprise!

I had a brilliant stay at this hotel - it was just what I needed at the time. The owners were incredibly welcoming and generous, making me feel right at home. The location was stunning, situated in the awesome area of the Lindis Pass on the hill. I loved waking up to the breathtaking views from my room, and the fact that there was a heater made it cozy and comfortable, even during chilly nights.

Shared rooms and technical facilities great. Kind host, even got upgraded. Authentic farm experience, met interesting guests and a friendly sheep. Great hot shower and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and homemade muffin. Wonderful stay with no pressure to engage.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The owners were so welcoming and generous, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was jaw-droppingly beautiful, the perfect spot to recharge and relax. The shared rooms were super cozy and had GREAT technical facilities, including free Wi-Fi and a motion detector. The host was incredibly kind and even upgraded us to a better room. I can't recommend this place enough to all travelers looking for a fantastic getaway. Can't wait to come back and stay longer, maybe even help out on the farm!

The property offered a unique experience that gave a taste of the real "Kiwi" way of life. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, allowing for easy meal preparation. The Wi-Fi offered good and stable connection that allowed me to call Europe without a problem. The laundry room was also free of charge, which was a plus. the accommodation was clean and solid.

The noise level from the kitchen at night was a downside, as people prepared meals well past midnight. However, this seemed to be more of an issue with inconsiderate guests than the property itself.
