fernz motel & apartments birkenhead never fails to impress. the location is ideal with shops within walking distance. i've stayed here a few times before and each time has been better than the last. highly recommend!

Heater had timer issues.

Located in a quiet suburb, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat just minutes away from all the action. With its central location, guests can easily access the Highbury shopping area, downtown where the sky tower is located, and various walking paths around the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities such as a dishwasher, fridge, oven. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony or take advantage of the washer and dryer in the bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

One minor inconvenience is that the door cannot be held open without wedging something, which can make it challenging when carrying luggage to the room.

Stayed at a spacious modern flat with an excellent bathroom and shower. Loved the fantastic large balcony and the amazing view of Auckland over the river. The location was perfect for us, close to shops, restaurants, bush walks, and beautiful beaches. Plenty of secure parking available. The apartment had great amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and microwave. The manager had a friendly attitude.

Felt like being home, no reason to complain.

During our Xmas stay, we enjoyed two complementary drinks and snacks, a wonderful location within walking distance to shops and cafes, and stunning views from our room. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

The lack of air conditioning during the summer made it difficult to sleep. Opening the windows brought in noise from a nearby construction site, and there was a total absence of information about the room and location which added to our frustration.

This lovely motel is situated in a convenient location close to all shops and restaurants. Guests can enjoy easy access to Birkenhead Point and other scenic parks on the edge of the harbor. The spacious rooms are immaculately presented, and the bathrooms are a highlight with their modern amenities. The friendly staff provide excellent service, ensuring a comfortable stay. Guests can also appreciate the convenience of a nearby supermarket.

The only downside is the occasional difficulty finding parking, but this is a temporary problem.

the exclusive amenities such as the private facilities and picnic area provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. the room advantages were plenty, with modern fixtures and furniture. the service was exceptional, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. the location made it easy to get around and explore the nearby shops.

The only minor issue we encountered was the limited parking space, which made it difficult to park our larger car in the secured parking area. there were plenty of parking spaces out in front of the building, which was still convenient.

Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly staff. Convenient location close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Private parking available. Excellent security measures. Modern facilities and ample TV channels.

Not one thing.

My recent stay at Fernz Motel & Apartments in Birkenhead was exceptional. The spacious and modern flat provided a comfortable and relaxing experience. The bathroom and shower were excellent, and the large balcony offered a fantastic view of Auckland. I also appreciated the convenience of having amenities like a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and microwave. The motel's location on the north shore of Auckland was perfect, with good shops, restaurants, bush walks, and beaches nearby. The availability of secure parking was also a plus. I highly recommend this motel for a pleasant stay in Auckland.
