We had a wonderful stay at a motel in Haast for our quick stop-over after driving across Haast Pass. It was an economical, clean, and secure place with excellent vehicle access and parking. the room was extremely clean and serviced daily. the hostess was amazing, showing genuine interest in us as guests. We even got to bring our beloved pet with us, which was great. the location was perfect for exploring Haast, Jacksons Bay, and the surrounding areas. We only wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the local wonderland.

Situated in the evening sun, the lodge provides a comfortable double bed, complete with two chairs and a bench in the studio-style arrangement. The bathroom is adequately sized with a very good shower. The friendly and efficient reception and helpful staff ensure a pleasant stay.

Limited power points make it difficult to manage all electronic devices.

The location was perfect for us, as we were traveling through Haast Pass. Additionally, there was a convenient convenience store nearby that allowed us to enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast in our room. our stay was enjoyable and we would definitely recommend this lodge to others.

The convenience store at the hotel was a great touch for grabbing a quick snack during my business trip. the nearby coffee shop was a nice option for breakfast before starting my day. One of the best things about the location was being able to park right outside my unit.

There was no ventilation in my unit, and when I tried to open the window, smoke from a neighboring smoker came in. This made it difficult to breathe and quite unpleasant.

The owners/managers were incredibly friendly and provided helpful information about the area. The room was clean and warm, with comfortable beds and electric blankets to keep us cozy throughout the night. The kitchenette was well-equipped for our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for me. They even had the heating turned on in my room, making it warm and cosy. The bed was really comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was serviced on the second day. The hotel also provided useful information about things to do and places to eat. The location was very convenient, being close to pub food and within driving distance of Franz Josef and Queenstown.
