A hidden gem with a lovely garden, cozy deck, and spa for stargazing. The comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchenette were a nice touch. Carol, the friendly host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The location is perfect for visiting Thornleigh Resthome and is just a short drive to local amenities.

The hosts at Heta Road B&B were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, and we loved the beautiful garden area where we could enjoy our breakfast. The continental breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Despite not being in the city center, the location was convenient and offered stunning views of Mt Egmont/Taranaki. I highly recommend this B&B for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely B&B! the views were amazing and the breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary hot drinks and the luxurious touches throughout the property. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town center but still peaceful and quiet. the hosts were gracious and knowledgeable, offering plenty of useful information about the area.

The lack of parking options, but that didn't detract from the overall great experience.

The location of the hotel was convenient as it was in the city centre, close to the festival of lights and the centre of New Plymouth. The room was well equipped with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The staff were friendly and provided a continental breakfast in the mornings. The view from the back yard was gorgeous and there was a beautiful outside deck. The hotel also offered plenty of parking and decent wifi.

Not very close to shops or restaurants, so having a car is necessary.
