Restored site, quiet location after 6pm, room with wow factor over standard motel. Nicely decorated and well-set out. Comfy beds, friendly staff, great shower pressure, and convenient walking distance to attractions. Nice touch with milk, tea, and coffee provided.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The decor was stylish and fresh, and the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The large room and bathroom provided ample space, and I loved the small kitchenette with all the necessary amenities to make simple meals. The location was perfect for my visit to Otago University, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making it a great choice for any traveler.

my recent stay at a boutique hotel in dunedin was exceptional. highland house exceeded all expectations. the room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a luxurious bath. excellent value for money. highly recommended.

We spent our Easter in a lovely historical building, beautifully restored, with large and comfortable rooms. the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and even offered us a free upgrade to a nicer room. the double glazed windows made the rooms quiet, and the little kitchenette was very useful. the location was also great, with access to stunning botanical gardens, local pubs and restaurants, and close to motorway access roads.

Initially, we had some confusion about where to park our car, but other than that, everything else was fantastic. We would have appreciated a few more sachets of coffee in the room, but the staff were really lovely.
