From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff greeted us with a glass of bubbles and took care of our car and luggage. The room was warm, spacious, and had a special charm. There were plenty of seating areas both inside and outside, with fireplaces adding to the cozy atmosphere. The gardens were absolutely stunning, like something out of a fairytale. The hedges were immaculately maintained, creating a peaceful and serene environment. The food at the lodge was exceptional, with creative and beautifully presented dishes. We even had the opportunity to customize our evening menu. The lodge also showcased iconic New Zealand art and paid homage to its significant history.

We felt completely relaxed during our stay and had no reason to complain.

As a couple, we absolutely loved the warm welcome with a glass of bubbles and the personalized tour of the property upon our arrival. The hospitality of the staff made us feel truly welcomed throughout our entire stay. Our favorite part was having our own private dining room with a balcony, offering us a romantic and secluded experience. The dinners, after-dinner drinks, and breakfast were all fabulous, leaving us completely satisfied. The beautiful gardens and iconic art showcased the rich history of the property, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
