The hotel exceeded my expectations with its attention to detail and value for money. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the stunning location by the lake. The rooms, although small, were full of character and had a superb view of the picturesque lake. The communal bathrooms were clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast offered was satisfying and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

What a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived at this stunning location, I was captivated by the breathtaking views and charming lodgings. The 'Glover' family and their team were amazing in every respect, making my stay truly memorable. The delicious food, great company, and the entertaining night of music were just the icing on the cake. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kinloch and highly recommend it to others.

The location of the hotel is convenient, with the lake just a stone's throw away. The rooms are clean and warm, and the staff is kind and attentive. The food in the restaurant is amazing, especially the platter. The shared kitchen is well-equipped and there is a nice common seating area.

The communal bathrooms are a bit run down and poorly equipped.

Over Christmas I stayed in a lodge that was surrounded by breathtaking scenery. the location was perfect, with a view of the snow-covered mountains in the distance, and the food was top-notch. the lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with blankets to keep us warm and hot water bottles to use. the kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to cook our own meals. the staff were friendly and offered great service.

The bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It was a bit too firm and caused some discomfort.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable facilities, lovely outdoor dining, felt like a home, great for tramping tracks.

It was all superb.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge! The history and charm of the property were captivating. The newly renovated rooms with beautiful wallpaper and comfortable bedding were delightful. The shared bathrooms were large and clean. We appreciated the fresh water cart outside our room and the fantastic hot drink station in the morning. The highlight was the delicious breakfast overlooking the lake with the sunrise over the mountains. It felt truly magical.

Felt safe walking at night, nothing was too much trouble.

Mind-blowing location amidst breathtaking mountains, convenient shuttling to famous hiking tracks, exceptional food at the charming restaurant, cozy lodging options, clean and serviceable self-catering kitchen.

The remote and peaceful location in September was like heaven. The hotel felt homely with comfortable couches and plenty of cushions to relax in front of the wood-burning heater. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and provided books and games for guests to use.

All was okay, nothing to complain about.
