The location of the hotel is stunning, with beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife to see, such as rays and bioluminescence. One reviewer even mentioned how the bioluminescence was worth getting out of bed in the middle of the night to see. the availability of free kayaks and paddle boards is a great advantage for guests looking to explore the area.

One negative aspect mentioned by a reviewer was the lack of privacy in the rooms, as they shared a yard with other families.

We had such a delightful stay at Lochmara Lodge! It was the perfect getaway for our anniversary, and we stayed for three wonderful nights. The stunning views, incredible meals, and delicious Lochmara Lager made for an unforgettable experience. Guy and Paula, the hosts, were exceptionally welcoming and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We loved the freedom to explore the entire property and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere throughout. This hidden jewel is a unique and highly recommended destination that we can't wait to return to!

We stayed at Lochmara Lodge for our engagement and it was a truly magical experience. The setting is paradise, with breathtaking ocean views from our bedroom. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and their friendly pup Bernie was a delight to meet. We were constantly entertained by the variety of animals, marine life, and displays available to us. The baths were a highlight, offering spectacular views and a truly relaxing experience. The hotel itself is modest and homely, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to return for our next break, and we highly recommend checking out the glow worms too!

We had an amazing value for our money at Lochmara Lodge. Our room, though not with a view, was clean, comfortable, and had a great shower. The location was beautiful and the staff treated us with kindness and support throughout our stay.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety in vegetarian choices.

we recently stayed at a lodge in lochmara. it was absolutely wonderful. the resort itself was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, including kayaking and paddleboarding in the beautiful bay. one of the highlights was a tour with janelle, who took us on a fabulous reef tour where we learned so much about the marine life. the side-by-side baths with a view were also a great experience. overall, our time at the lodge was fantastic and we highly recommend it.

My partner and I stayed at Lochmara Lodge for our 2-year anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. The views were breathtaking, the meals were exceptional, and we loved trying the Lochmara Lager. The hosts, especially Guy and Paula, were outstanding and made us feel at home. We enjoyed the freedom to explore the property and do our own thing. The whole place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the opportunity to hand-feed the birds and the incredible side-by-side baths with a view. We can't wait to come back and highly recommend this hidden gem!

The location was breathtaking - such a beautiful place with amazing views. The staff were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The kids loved the animal feeding, underwater observatory, and the kayaks. The rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Recommended for family trips and couple getaways.
