I recently stayed at a hotel in Twizel and got great value for my money. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby mountains and lakes.

I recently had a fantastic stay in Twizel, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of New Zealand. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to the town center and offered easy access to Lake Pukaki and Mount Cook National Park. The room was spacious and comfortable, with warm beds and pillows that provided a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the hotel had great facilities, including a dining area where I enjoyed a satisfactory buffet meal.

There was one downside to my stay - the noise from the wall heater in the room was quite bothersome and made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

This hotel offers great value for money and the prices are reasonable. The attention to detail is commendable and the staff provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms are sufficient and the location is convenient, with supermarkets and the town nearby.

The location of this hotel is superb, especially if you plan on doing nearby activities such as gliding, biplane or heli tours. The service provided by the staff was excellent and they were very friendly and patient, despite the hotel being heavily populated by coach trips. The buffet dinner and breakfast offered at this hotel were lovely and had a wide variety of food options to choose from. The atmosphere and setting of this hotel were very relaxing, particularly sitting next to the large open fire in the main bar area.

Some of the rooms were in serious need of renovation, but overall, everything was okay.

Clean rooms with ample space, including connecting double rooms for families. Friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to resolve any issues. Convenient location on the main road, close to restaurants and attractions like Mount Cook and Tekapo. Reasonable price for the value provided.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

We had a great value for our money at Distinction Mackenzie Country. The room was even better than we expected, with two connecting double rooms that provided plenty of space for our family. The location was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The food for breakfast could have been better. It would have been nice to have more options available, especially considering that the restaurant was closed during our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the town center, making it a great base for exploring the area. It is also situated between Christchurch and Queenstown, allowing for easy access to both cities. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are sparkling clean, providing a comfortable stay.

Some guests have mentioned that the buffet breakfast is mediocre.

Our room had a stale odor and the bedspread was dirty. the bathroom floor and skirting were covered in dust, and the windows were dirty with bird poop.
