We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location is simply magical, nestled in an enchanting forest surrounded by lush greenery. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, from the warm welcome drink to the impeccable housekeeping.

We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends. It truly offers a luxurious and comfortable experience, with its beautiful location, impeccable service, and excellent amenities.

we really liked this place. the room was generous in size and had high-quality furniture and fittings. the shared lounge and verandah were comfortable and inviting. upon arrival, we were treated to free tea and cookies. the hosts, Philip and Daphne, were lovely and welcoming. the lodge itself is beautiful and feels like a little oasis of calm. breakfast was the best we've had, with homemade bread, jams, and the option of bacon and eggs. the location is great, just a short walk from town where there is a fantastic pizza place.

I found a hidden gem nestled in the outskirts of an ordinary small town. The location of the lodge is simply breathtaking, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast served here is absolutely delicious, with fresh baked bread and a variety of choices to satisfy any appetite. The hosts are amazing, providing useful information about the area and making you feel welcome. Definitely a great choice if you want to experience the real charm of the northern center of the South Island.

The lighting in the bathroom could be improved. Dim lighting is not my cup of tea, and I would prefer brighter bulbs to enhance the overall experience.

Everything was fantastic.

The lounge area had a very cool vibe and was a nice place to hang out in. the free coffee and tea were a nice touch. the room was pretty big and had a comfy bed. the bathroom was also spacious and had a nice shower. the hosts did their best to be accommodating.

There really wasn't much to do in this small town, and not many options for dining out. It would have been nice to have more restaurant choices and things to do.

Just a short stroll to the bustling metropolis of Murchison, with its stunning selection of shops and pubs. I had the privilege of witnessing flames coming out of the ground in a local forest. Breakfast couldn't get any more exciting with homemade bacon on the BBQ.

I was devastated that I couldn't spend more time in this fabulous place.
