We had a truly lovely stay at Tailor Made Tekapo Accommodation - Guesthouse & Hostel. The highlight of our visit was getting to meet the adorable 10-day-old hand-reared lambs - such a unique experience! The spacious kitchen, lounge, and dining area had everything we needed, and the bedroom had beautiful sunlight streaming in. The location was perfect, and the overall vibe of the place was wonderful. We would definitely return.

Despite its dated appearance compared to more modern accommodations, our stay here was comfortable. the dorm rooms had actual beds, not bunks, and they were comfortable with extra thick blankets. the rooms also had plenty of power sockets and small bedside tables for each person. the central heating kept the area warm, which was perfect for the cold spring nights. the lounge, with its log burner, was a cozy spot to relax in the evenings. the outdoor hammock was a cool feature and incredibly comfortable. the hostel's location was convenient, just a short walk from the major bus stop and main street. the owners' love for animals was evident, with adorable rescued animals that added to the experience. Tiffany, one of the staff members, was friendly and helpful, providing great advice and showing her passion for Tekapo.

The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals easily. The location of the accommodation was great, with a short walk to the town center. the atmosphere of the place was really enjoyable, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe throughout our stay.

It would have been more comfortable if the showers and toilets were separated by genders, as it felt a bit uncomfortable in a mixed environment. Another downside was the heater in the room, which didn't work well during our winter trip, leaving us feeling quite cold at times.

Mind-blowing location just minutes from the village center, super spacious private room with nice bathroom, easy check-in and check-out process, well-equipped kitchen, clean and cozy lounge. Plus, plenty of street parking and a variety of on-site facilities to keep you entertained during winter, such as Wi-Fi, on-site car park, shared kitchen. Jaw-dropping experience, highly recommend!

Considering it's a popular tourist spot, the price was good too. a first-class experience at Tailor Made Tekapo Accommodation - Guesthouse & with all the necessary amenities and cleanliness.
