We loved the homey vibe of the hostel at Tailor Made. Despite its dated appearance compared to more modern accommodations, our stay here was comfortable. the dorm rooms had actual beds, not bunks, and they were comfortable with extra thick blankets. the rooms also had plenty of power sockets and small bedside tables for each person. the central heating kept the area warm, which was perfect for the cold spring nights. the lounge, with its log burner, was a cozy spot to relax in the evenings. the outdoor hammock was a cool feature and incredibly comfortable. the hostel's location was convenient, just a short walk from the major bus stop and main street. the owners' love for animals was evident, with adorable rescued animals that added to the experience. Tiffany, one of the staff members, was friendly and helpful, providing great advice and showing her passion for Tekapo.

The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals easily. The location of the accommodation was great, with a short walk to the town center. the atmosphere of the place was really enjoyable, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe throughout our stay.

It would have been more comfortable if the showers and toilets were separated by genders, as it felt a bit uncomfortable in a mixed environment. Another downside was the heater in the room, which didn't work well during our winter trip, leaving us feeling quite cold at times.

I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, showing me to my room and providing a thorough tour of the facility. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with extra blankets and a radiator for optimal coziness. The shower and toilet facilities were also clean and in good working order. The fully equipped kitchen was a great feature, and the lounge area with the log fire was a cozy and warm place to relax. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the main street, supermarket, and bus drop off.

Each bed had its own bedside table and there were plenty of power sockets. the central heating system kept the entire area warm, and we even had a log burner in the lounge to use in the evenings. One of our favorite features was the outdoor hammock, which was ridiculously comfortable. the location of the hostel was also convenient, just a short 3-5 minute walk from the main bus stop and the main street. Another delightful aspect of this hostel was the presence of their adorable animals. the owners clearly love animals and have even rescued some of them. We enjoyed spending time with the sheep, chickens, guinea pigs, cats, and rabbits. the staff, especially Tiffany, was friendly and helpful, providing us with great advice and showing their enthusiasm for Tekapo.

The staff at the guesthouse were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel so welcomed during our stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, especially the spacious kitchen which had plenty of space for cooking. The cosy living room area with comfortable couches added to the overall comfort. The location was perfect, just a 1-minute drive from the town centre, and the staff provided us with lots of valuable information about nearby attractions and their opening hours. The highlight of our stay was the snow-filled premises and the opportunity to see and interact with the adorable bunnies, chickens, and Guinea pigs. It would be a great place for families with children to have some fun. The check-in process was smooth, and our room was beautifully furnished with a cosy bed. The clean bathroom and the hot shower were incredibly refreshing after a cold winter day. The guesthouse's convenient location near the lake, shops, cafes, and hot pools made it even better. The large communal kitchen was very well-equipped and provided a great opportunity to make new friends from different backgrounds. our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely amazing, thanks to the helpful staff, clean facilities, convenient location, and the extra touch of furry friends.

The owner/receptionist was very attentive and nice, giving me a personal tour and recommending places to visit in the area. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, with a comfortable bed and extra bedding provided. The well-equipped kitchen and large lounge area were great for socializing with other guests. Additionally, the location was perfect, with easy access to shops, the lakefront, and various activities. The friendly staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

For me, this hostel was ideal.

I absolutely loved the adorable decor of the dorms and the beautiful gardens. The effort put into making this place charming and memorable was evident. The rabbits and chickens in the garden added to the overall cuteness. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the village center. The facilities provided at the accommodation kept me entertained, especially during winter. The owners and staff were wonderful and made me feel amazing with their caring and loving attitude towards the animals. The room was cozy, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely view of the bunnies. The kitchen was tidy and well-maintained, and the entire place had a homely feel to it. It was excellent value for money.

We stayed at a lovely and clean backpacker hostel with our own bathroom, which even had a hairdryer provided. the shared kitchen and living room were well-maintained and had plenty of cooking facilities. the location was great, just a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Considering it's a popular tourist spot, the price was good too. a first-class experience at Tailor Made Tekapo Accommodation - Guesthouse & with all the necessary amenities and cleanliness.

No complaints at all.
