I had a wonderful stay at a cozy lodge close to the beach. The room was charming and comfortable, with a beautiful decor. The breakfast provided was delicious and there was plenty of food for me to enjoy. The location was perfect, allowing me to take relaxing walks along the beach and explore the nearby pier. The host was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this lodge for a delightful stay in Christchurch.

Old nunnery turned hostel, offering free wifi and a generous breakfast in an old chapel. En suite rooms are spacious, and the hostel is close to the Bottle Park MTB trails and New Brighton beach. Cozy dining room with a fireplace and beautiful decor. Lovely garden for picnics in summer.

The rooms, with their large comfy beds and amenities, including my own small ensuite bathroom, provided a comfortable and cozy retreat. The friendly and caring staff made me feel right at home. Additionally, the ideal location of this hotel, just a short walk to local restaurants and shops, allowed me to enjoy the breathtaking views of the pier and ocean. Great location, only a few minutes away from beach, restaurants, and shops. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious.

The room was not very clean, with dust and grime visible in several areas. the bathroom also had a foul odor, and the towels provided were old and stained.
