Lack of privacy in the upstairs suite due to no door separating it from the main hallway and other guests' room. Unexpected earthquake early in the morning.

Breakfast was delicious and the venue was clean, warm, and inviting. Secure location with updated amenities. Owners are attentive and helpful. a great value.

Parking was a hassle, as there was no on-site parking available and street parking could be difficult to find. It would be better to have a dedicated parking area for guests.

I recently stayed at a heritage villa in Wellington and it was absolutely ideal for my needs. The villa itself was located in a beautiful traditional house and I had a separate lounge and cooking facilities. It was great being able to walk to the harbour area and the botanical gardens, and there was a lovely cafe nearby. The key code door lock provided both convenience and security. The breakfast provided was more than adequate and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I only wish I had been able to use the fantastic free-standing bath. I had a wonderful stay at this heritage villa.

thorndon heritage listed villa in wellington exceeded our expectations during our longer stay. the beautifully appointed and spacious suite had stunning decor, especially in the bathroom. the host was wonderful and attentive, and the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. we wish we could have stayed longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at this historic villa. The luxurious and elegant atmosphere, coupled with the affordable price, made us feel spoiled. The recently renovated rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful bathroom and a lovely TV room. The location was perfect, not too far from the CBD but still away from the hustle and bustle. The secure surroundings added to the peace of mind. The owners were fantastic, always available and ensuring that everything was to our satisfaction. it was a truly amazing experience and we can't wait to come back.

The garden views were absolutely breathtaking, as if I were gazing out at a picturesque painting. It was a delightful sight to wake up to every morning, adding a touch of serenity to my stay.

Breakfast standard: The breakfast offered at the hotel was nice but didn't quite match the outstanding quality of the rest of the experience.

We got amazing value for our money at this historic and beautiful property. The room was spacious and clean, with high ceilings and a lovely feature wall in the bathroom. The location was great, close to the ferry and with plenty of off-street parking. The host, Ross, was incredibly accommodating and communicated with us quickly and easily.
