Stayed at Vineyard Cottages - Kumeu for our anniversary and loved it! The cottage was spacious with a comfy lounge and a separate, large bedroom. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials for a delicious breakfast. The peaceful, semi-rural location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Good wifi and a cozy fireplace were added bonuses. Barry, the owner, was friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend the Tasting Shed nearby for a great meal.

Everything was fantastic.

I had the most amazing stay at a charming cottage nestled in a beautiful rural setting. The location was serene, surrounded by lush greenery and trees that provided a cool breeze. The cottage itself was clean and beautifully decorated with vintage touches. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, even offering an early check-in. The breakfast provided was delicious and the view from the cottage was breathtaking. I especially loved the log fire and the walk-in shower. it was a truly delightful experience.

One small inconvenience was that my personal wine glass was mistakenly taken away by room service.

Our weekend stay was enjoyable overall. the charming and spacious cottages were filled with rustic furnishings that captured our eyes. the environment-friendly supplies like the bathroom products, beverages, and food greatly appeased our conscience. the continental breakfast provided was impressive, with fresh and delicious local produce. the location of the cottages is surrounded by vineyards, and it is an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature.

We felt that the housekeeping standards were not up to par. the crumbs and hair on the stovetop and the unclean shelf of the toaster were not very welcoming.
