I adored the quirky art and delightful colors in the gardens - perfect for senior people like me to stroll around and relax. the accessibility was great, being close to town yet peacefully quiet, making it easy for us seniors to enjoy without any hassle.

More assistance from the children working there would have made the vacation even better for seniors.

Despite its peaceful ambiance, the property is conveniently located near shops, striking the perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility. Sue, our exceptional host, struck the right chord between engaging in conversation and respecting our privacy—an ideal balance that made our stay all the more enjoyable. Oh, and meeting Smiley the dog was an added treat!

Great value for the money with a lovely room, comfy bed, and beautiful surroundings. Location was convenient, and the staff, especially Sue, were friendly and accommodating.

stayed in Whangarei before but Waimoana Garden Accommodation exceeded expectations. Sue went above and beyond to accommodate us, adding personal touches to the house. Breakfast was amazing and the house was clean with a cozy lounge area. The friendly dogs and cat were a bonus. Wonderful experience celebrating a birthday.

I recently stayed at Waimoana Garden Accommodation for a weekend getaway. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was superb! The grounds were pristine and the gardens were spectacular, like an entire gallery of amazing art. Sue, the main hostess, was very welcoming and accommodating. The location was perfect, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this hotel to others.
