The staff at the hotel were also very helpful and friendly, providing us with recommendations on things to do and see during our stay. the breakfast provided each morning was simple but delicious, with fresh fruit that added a nice touch.

That there was no fridge in our room. It would have been convenient to have one, especially for keeping drinks and snacks cool.

We had an amazing time at the Guest Lodge! The owner, Richie, gave us an insider's tip on where to see the glow worms up close and away from the crowds. It was such a unique experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was delicious. It is really close to the caves, right in the center of the village, and super close to all the restaurants and shops. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the valley. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations and even making dinner reservations for us.

The noise from the nearby restaurant across the road was quite bothersome, especially during the night. The road noise was also louder than expected and seemed to travel upwards.

The location of the hotel was also fantastic, right across the street from the best restaurant in town, and next to a good caves tour company. there was a lovely outdoor area outside our room where we could have a drink and marvel at the clear starlit sky.
