We spent three nights exploring the area. the centralized location made it convenient to walk to shops, the lake, and dining spots. the rooms were spotless, with modern amenities, fast WiFi, and a helpful owner who gave fantastic local recommendations. the free-to-use spacious washing machine was a bonus.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Location: the breathtaking views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains from my private balcony were as majestic as a royal banquet, elevating my morning coffee to a regal experience.

Lack of facilities for washing dishes, with only a small sink in the bathroom available. Limited parking spaces, with only four spaces for six chalets.

We had a great stay at View Motel. the lady who checked us in was friendly and the parking was easy. the place was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. Although the cooker looked a bit dated, everything else was perfect. the location was fantastic, with a short walk to Lake and the main street. the decor was lovely and the beds were really warm and comfy. the manager/owner was very helpful and gave us a great itinerary for our drive back to Queenstown. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

The motel offers a range of amenities such as loaning bikes and beach chairs, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. The views of the lake and mountains from the motel are breathtaking.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, from a cozy sitting area to a fully equipped kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful terrace and garden furniture, where I could relax and take in the stunning views. The hotel also offered great leisure facilities, with options for skiing, hiking, and even a nearby golf course. a wonderful experience!

The view from our room during our Christmas stay was breathtaking. We could easily walk to nearby restaurants and shops, and it was just a short distance from the lake. the room had a small kitchenette, which was great for preparing snacks and drinks.

The room itself had a bit of an old smell, and the carpet was quite old and not ideal for anyone with allergies. the room we stayed in did not match the pictures we saw online, and the bedrooms were very tiny with no space to store our suitcases.
