I had an amazing stay at Yha in Lake Tekapo. The location was absolutely stunning with a beautiful view of Lake Tekapo. The hostel itself was modern and clean, providing all the facilities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to leave my luggage before and after check-in/out. I had a great experience at Yha and would highly recommend it.

The only drawback I experienced was the lack of soundproofing in the hostel. There was a large hockey group staying at the same time who were quite noisy, and the sound traveled easily through the halls.

We had an amazing experience at Yha! the location was perfect, right in front of the lake, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and comfortable, with great heating and a cozy bed. We also loved the stunning view from the common kitchen/dining area, which was well-equipped. Even though there was refurbishment happening, it didn't affect our stay. the hostel provided fast, unlimited wifi and the shared bathrooms were clean. we were very impressed with the facilities and would definitely choose to stay here again.

I've stayed in countless hostels worldwide, but this one stands out as truly exceptional. the rooms may be compact, but they are thoughtfully designed with all the necessary amenities like lockers, bedside lights, and plugs. the bathrooms are impeccably clean, and the kitchen facilities are top-notch, making eating out unnecessary. the location is simply unbeatable, right on the lakefront with an unobstructed view. YHA Tekapo provides a stellar experience with its comfortable accommodations, well-maintained facilities, and a prime location.
