I recently stayed at Mama Ines for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location right on the beach was absolutely amazing, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The room itself was well-equipped and seemed newly renovated. I also loved that the hotel provided free bikes for guests to use. Additionally, being a small family business, the staff went above and beyond to help organize tours and transportation, making our stay stress-free. The delicious food at the restaurant was another highlight of our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Mama Ines. the family-run establishment was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Julio and Juan Carlos, the two brothers who run the hotel, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They were fluent in English and assisted us with everything from renting surfboards to arranging snorkeling trips to Coiba. the hotel itself is right by the beach, and we loved the beautiful garden area where we could relax and enjoy drinks while taking in the beach view. the rooms were comfortable with excellent air conditioning. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to check in early and even provided transportation to the Main Street on our departure day.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊

We had a fantastic stay right on the surf beach with a little restaurant. The location was perfect, right in front of a beautiful beach with amazing ocean views. The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel facilities were great, and we particularly loved the different spots to eat and get cocktails at different levels. The cleanliness of the hotel was also top-notch. we had a wonderful time enjoying the beach, delicious food, and the joyful ambiance of this hotel.

We had an absolutely incredible 8-day stay at this beautiful place near the center, with a phantasmic beach just in front. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, organizing outstanding trips to Coiba where we saw whales, dolphins, sharks, turtles, and giant manta rays all while snorkeling. the location is amazing, right on the beach that is perfect for surfing, and the views from the restaurant overlooking the beach were breathtaking. the property itself is like a tropical oasis, covered in lush green plants. the pool was a refreshing treat after surf sessions. We can't recommend Mama Ines highly enough and hope to return one day!

I stayed at Mama Ines for 3 nights to go diving. The hotel's location right on Playa Estero was perfect, with beautiful beach views from my room and the restaurant. The staff, especially Julio, went out of their way to make me feel at home and were always friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was the best I had during my stay, and the prices were reasonable. I also appreciated the free bike rentals, which made it easy to explore the area.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleased with the beautiful location of the hotel, as it was situated right on the beach. The views were stunning, and we enjoyed waking up to the sight of the ocean every morning. Additionally, the hotel offered free bikes for guests, which was a great way to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast provided was also a highlight, with a variety of options including fruits, cereal, natural juices, toasts.

One drawback was the lack of water pressure in the shower, and on the last day, there was no water at all. This was quite inconvenient and affected our overall experience.

We had an amazing stay at this family-run hotel with a fantastic location. the staff at Mama Ines were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcomed. the rooms were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the included yummy breakfast with a beautiful seaside view. the whole experience added to the chill vibe of Santa Catalina, and we can't imagine our stay without this place. the food was also top-notch, especially the delicious whole fish.

The hotel had a stunning setting with fantastic ocean views from everywhere, including the restaurant. the prices at the restaurant were surprisingly reasonable and the food was absolutely wonderful. Lastly, the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, even serving meals during off-hours. It was a great value for our money.

The beds were uncomfortable, they creaked and made it hard to get a good night's sleep. there was a lack of dressers in the rooms, which made it difficult to unpack and organize our belongings.

We had an amazing time staying at this beachfront hotel. Mama Ines is run by a friendly family who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, with direct views of the sea from the cozy common area. We enjoyed renting surfboards for just $5 and riding the free bikes around town. The rooms had everything we needed and were very clean. The hotel felt like a resort but at hostel prices. We can't wait to go back!

Great location by the beach, with beautiful views. Loved having easy access to the beach for swimming and surfing. the staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests or questions.

The rooms were in need of some renovations, with peeling paint and a bit of a moldy smell. the cleanliness of the rooms could have been better, with towels and shower curtains being dirty.
