As backpackers, we loved the authentic jungle experience at this lodge. Our guide, Miguel, was knowledgeable and took us to see everything we wanted. The lodge had comfortable cabins with mosquito netting, and the meals were delicious. We enjoyed fishing for piranha and exploring the rainforest.

The lodge had well-screened cabins, with non-potable water for washing and enjoyable outdoor showers. Attention to detail was evident, including flexibility with meals for vegetarians and helpful staff. Tipping in soles is customary.

Having our own personal guide and boatman was a huge plus, as they were knowledgeable and made our daily activities enjoyable. The fact that the lodge organized airport transfers was very convenient and made the whole experience hassle-free. it was a fantastic and unforgettable Easter getaway.

They provided plenty of food, juice, and filtered water, and even did our laundry. The best part was knowing that the proceeds from our stay went directly to funding the community and school.
