During my recent stay at Hotel Tavern in Surigao, I had a great experience. The complimentary transfer from the airport was a pleasant surprise. The location of the hotel, just 5 minutes away from the ferry port, was very convenient. The wifi connection was strong, and I was able to stay connected throughout my stay. The hot shower was a welcome relief after a long day of exploring.

The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, although some improvements could be made, such as adding more pieces of danggit or salted egg. I would recommend Hotel Tavern Surigao for its convenient location, strong wifi, and friendly service.

We had a wonderful experience here. The location near the port was very convenient for us. We were able to easily catch a ferry to explore the nearby islands. The staff provided excellent service, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the helpful assistance at the front desk. They made us feel right at home.

The sea-view room has a fantastic view, well worth the extra price. The air conditioning is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel provides prompt service when needed, such as replacing the safe and refrigerator. The hotel drivers and receptionist are very helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located near the port, making it a great choice for those planning to visit Siargao or go for island hopping. It is right at the Boulevard, providing a beautiful view and easy access to the seaside. The staff are friendly and accommodating, with the management even offering complimentary airport transfers. The spacious rooms offer a million dollar ocean view and are well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet provides a variety of options, catering to different dietary needs.

One aspect that could be improved is the air conditioning unit, which takes a while to cool the room on hot summer days.

Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a variety of tasty food to choose from. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly, providing prompt and attentive service. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel is in dire need of renovation, with outdated amenities and poor maintenance. The bathroom was not up to standard, and the window and air conditioning unit were very noisy.
