Basic room, helpful staff organized airport transfers, recommended motorbike rentals, and had prompt responses. 10-15 minute walk to bars and restaurants, but closer to local areas for authentic experiences. Good air con and outside seating area. Clean, peaceful property with hot showers. Close to restaurants and shops, 10-minute tricycle ride to surf spot. Neil was great and reachable via WhatsApp. Sweet resident dog. Perfect vibe even in bad weather. Common kitchen for coffee and cooking. Caring staff. We miss the hostel's adopted dog already.

Liked my New Year stay here! the rooms were clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the AC was nice to have. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, arranging transportation for us and providing recommendations for local spots. the location was convenient, only a short walk to restaurants and bars. Best of all, we enjoyed the use of the free laundry facilities; such a helpful perk!

Dislikes? the room could have used a few more amenities like a TV or bedside table.

My recent stay at Siargao Tropic was delightful. The rooms were comfortable and the price was very affordable. The staff was friendly and even offered to pick us up at the port. I especially loved that the hostel was closer to the local areas, allowing us to experience Siargao life with the locals. I highly recommend this hostel.

The location was perfect, close to the center of the island where we could experience Siargao life with the locals. The room was comfortable and clean, with a hot shower and a peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed using the common kitchen to make our own coffee and cook. The staff was caring and friendly, always ready to help. The hostel had a resident dog that quickly became our furry friend.

The wifi barely worked, which was a disappointment considering the otherwise great stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. They were always available to provide assistance and gave great recommendations for places to visit in Siargao. Secondly, the hotel had all the basic amenities I needed, including comfortable beds and a kitchenette where I could prepare my own meals. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect - right in the center of GL, close to local areas where I got to experience Siargao life with the locals. Lastly, I really enjoyed the breakfast that was offered. It was a great way to start my day and was included in the affordable price of the room.

Helpful staff, well-equipped dorm rooms, met amazing people, nice communal area with gatherings and BBQ, convenient kitchenette and nearby supermarket, enjoyable pool table.
