I loved the convenient location of this hotel. It was within walking distance of numerous restaurants and bars, as well as plenty of markets where I could find delicious local food. The hotel itself was a beautiful boutique establishment with a clean and well-maintained courtyard. The highlight for me was the lovely warmed and lighted pool and garden area, where I could relax and unwind. The breakfast provided by the hotel was also top-notch, with a great selection of tasty options. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Great hotel with a beautiful room and a fantastic location! the staff was helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome. We loved the stylish and comfortable room, complete with a full-service kitchen and a balcony. the hotel's location was perfect, nestled in a charming neighborhood with lots of great restaurants nearby. Plus, having breakfast served to our room was a nice touch. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The only downside was the lack of cable in our room, which meant we couldn't watch CNN or BBC. However, considering the amazing rooms, the friendly staff, and the attention to detail, this was a minor inconvenience.

The check-in process was smooth and the staff, especially Rui, were wonderful. The room was amazing, with a large and comfortable king size bed. The terrace provided stunning views of Alfama and Lisbon. The location was perfect, with easy access to Baixa, Alfama, and Barrio Alto. The breakfast options were delicious, and we enjoyed the in-room Nespresso coffee. The private spa was a great bonus, with a spacious and beautifully designed relaxation area. We will definitely be back to this fantastic hotel.

Amazing Views and Wonderful Service

The views from our room were absolutely stunning, overlooking the Rossio area and the beautiful hills of Lisbon. The room itself was fantastic, with a spacious bedroom, a well-appointed bathroom, and a functional kitchenette. We loved the large private balcony, complete with a table and chairs for enjoying breakfast or simply taking in the breathtaking views.

We got amazing value for our money - the room was spacious, stylish, and spotless, with beautiful views of the castle and the colorful city. The location was perfect, tucked away on a side street but still in the center of everything. The staff, especially Ana, went above and beyond to make our stay both luxurious and personal.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from a larger staff to help with deliveries and checkouts, as it seemed overwhelming for the gentleman in charge.

Casa Balthazar was worth every penny. The room was fantastic, with a great view and all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff treated us like royalty, always helpful and accommodating.

More breakfast choices would have made the experience even better.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel for 7 nights. The history and charm of the place were evident everywhere, from the old bakery turned breakfast room to the well-presented and decoratively furnished guest rooms. The location was perfect, with restaurants and transportation options nearby. The pool was a great way to relax, and the staff, especially Roy on the front desk, provided excellent service and helpful tips. We were well taken care of, even when I fell ill on the last day.

The hotel exceeded our expectations with its beautiful building, comfortable and clean rooms, and exceptional service. the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect, especially considering the current circumstances. We were delighted to have a room with a roof terrace, where we enjoyed early evening drinks while taking in the stunning views. the breakfast served in our room was excellent, and the nearby restaurants were also great. Highly recommend this centrally located hotel!

We cannot recommend Casa Balthazar enough.

I have to say, Casa Balthazar was worth every penny. The room was incredibly spacious and the Art Deco furniture was gorgeous. Plus, everything was spotless and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The location was perfect, right near the train station and with a stunning view of the castle and city. We also loved the cosy lounge areas and the daily treat of free tea, coffee, and cake. It was a hidden gem!

For breakfast, it would've been nice to have more options. Specifically, when it came to the food for breakfast, it would've been great to have more variety.
