We had an amazing time staying at this charming guest house in the mountains. The room was spacious and comfortable with stunning views of the river. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed delicious meals with other guests, and the included drinks were a pleasant surprise. The pool was a refreshing bonus on hot days.

A slight odor from the bathroom drains at times, but it was not a major issue.

The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the pool and sitting area, perfect for relaxation.

The Wi-Fi connection was not the most reliable, but it wasn't a big issue considering the overall beauty and charm of the place.

We stayed at Quinta Da Casa Cimeira for a few nights and had an amazing time. The family-run guest house offered fantastic views of the river and valley from the small village. The house itself was beautiful, with communal rooms set up in a charming vintage style. Our spacious and comfortable bedroom, along with the private sitting room and large bathroom, made our stay even more enjoyable. The highlight of our trip was joining Manuel in his grape harvest, which provided breathtaking views of the Douro Valley. We also loved bonding with other guests over delicious meals, including the A++ dinner. a great experience that we would highly recommend.

I stayed at this family-run guest house in Valenca do Douro for a few nights. The atmosphere was convivial and the food was good, especially the lovely breakfast. The staff was amazing and made sure all our wishes were taken care of. The hike behind the property offered breathtaking views. The personal connection made by Miguel with every guest was a nice touch. I enjoyed meeting other travelers and drinking their own label wine and port. I wish them continued success.

I recently stayed at Casa Cimeira in Douro for a few days. The location was accessible by car and the room exceeded my expectations in terms of size and appearance. The views from the hotel were wonderful and the on-site wine bar and restaurant were a definite plus. The owners, Maria and Arturo, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They even helped arrange visits to local vineyards. it was a fantastic experience.

The wine and port were excellent - we even wanted to have some shipped! the food was also very good, with homemade and delicious meals. the hospitality at this family-run property was exceptional, making us feel like we were part of their family. the property itself was stunning, set in the beautiful hills of the Duro Valley with impressive period-style rooms. We also enjoyed meeting and sharing experiences with other guests from all over the world.

The roads leading to the property were quite steep and narrow, making it a bit challenging for our car to get up. However, there is a longer route that can be taken for easier access.

We got an amazing value for our money. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views and a non-touristic feel to the town. The staff treated us like family, welcoming, friendly, and extremely generous. We met diverse travelers at dinner, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The historic winery is beautiful, luxuriously appointed and family-owned for over 200 years. The warm and welcoming family made us feel like part of the family. The generous breakfasts and port tastings were a highlight. The rooms were elegant and spacious, with breathtaking views of the river and vineyards. The whole area is UNESCO World Heritage listed, creating a truly poetic landscape.
