The lack of storage space in the bedroom, which meant we had to live out of our suitcase. the air conditioning in our room broke and was not fixed during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with beautiful beaches and other parts of the coast as backdrops. The cabana and grounds are amazing, providing a tranquil atmosphere. the room was spacious and had a stunning view of the surrounding area. Housekeeping, although lacking in some areas, was accommodating in providing toiletries upon request. The breakfast spread was delicious, with homemade bread being a standout. the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The bed and pillows were super hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

Loved the attention to detail in the room, like the handmade terracotta floor and the hammock on the terrace. The personal training with Jani was just what I needed to improve my motivation and performance. The food and drinks were exceptional, especially the Algarvian Margarita with fig and almond.

Oh, just a minor inconvenience, the beds magically didn't turn themselves at night. How disappointing.

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the vibrant and beachy decor at Casa Mae. The white and simple design created a relaxing atmosphere that perfectly suited our taste. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We particularly appreciated the shuttle service from the airport, which was essential and greatly appreciated. The location of the hotel was ideal, being nestled inside the charming old town and within walking distance of historical sites, beaches, restaurants, and shops. The pool provided a refreshing oasis after a long day of exploring. The breakfast at Casa Mae was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. And of course, we cannot forget to mention the hotel's restaurant, Orta, with its great ambiance and fresh, delicious food. Our first night, dining on the patio while listening to live music, was the perfect start to our adventure.

we had an incredible experience at casa mae. the minimalist rooms filled with light and the local artist touches added so much value. the staff, especially rodriguez, went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. fabulous breakfasts and perfect location for exploring on foot. highly recommend the seven hanging valleys hike. the best boutique hotel we've ever stayed in.
