The location of Catalonia was excellent, only a short walk from the Prado and the Royal Palace. Our room was spotless and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The free snack time topped off a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a convenient area close to popular sites and attractions. It's within walking distance to the city center, near a metro station, and surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants. The rooms are generally clean and spacious, with good Wi-Fi, an in-room safe, and complimentary bottled water.

There are some issues with the service quality as reported by other guests. The heating system didn't seem to work properly in some rooms, and despite numerous complaints, there was no noticeable improvement.

I had a fantastic stay at Catalonia Plaza Mayor! The location was perfect for exploring the city, and all major attractions were within easy walking distance. The bed in my room was super comfy, and the shower was heavenly. The staff were so friendly and helpful, answering all of my questions. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, it was definitely worth the price. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Madrid.

The beds were incredibly comfortable with no noise from the road. The new afternoon buffet was a welcome treat after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast offering was amazing and extensive, although the breakfast room lacked daylight. The central location of the hotel was perfect, with two beautiful squares nearby and great tapas bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms had a standard business-like feel but had good mattresses and nice showers. The hotel also had a gym and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

Everything was fantastic.

This venue is located right in the centre and it's so easy to navigate around. You can walk to most tourist attractions or hire a car from the friendly staff. The room amenities, such as soundproofed rooms, terrace, and mini-bar made my stay even more comfortable. I appreciated the warmth from staff that greeted me with a welcome drink and was always willing to help with tours/ticket assistance. Also, this place had a leisure spa & wellness centre, perfect for relaxing in a jacuzzi after sightseeing all day. Makeup in the bathroom was a breeze with a telephone and free toiletries provided. The flat-screen tv was also provided with a big size bed upon request-- special thanks to Mr Osmani and Mr Juan for the hospitality.

Had an awesome time during New Year's at this centrally-located hotel. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complementary afternoon tea and late check-out. the breakfast selection was fantastic with something for everyone and the food was delicious. We also appreciated being able to store our baggage after checking out.

The bathroom door was made of glass, which could be a bit awkward for some guests. while most of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, some seemed less so.
