We had a fantastic time staying at the Convento De Sao Francisco Villa. The building is absolutely stunning and full of atmosphere. We loved exploring the unique and beautiful spaces, and there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh homegrown pineapple. The room was well-designed, airy and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the lovely swimming pool in the quiet garden. a truly unique and enjoyable experience.

Access to the roof was a bonus, and there was always a plentiful supply of coffee, fresh juice, and fruits. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. the WiFi connection in the room was flawless, and the overall experience was great.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning sensitively restored convent called Convento De Sao Francisco Villa. The atmosphere and decor of this beautiful building were truly unique and captivating. I loved wandering through the cloister, bell tower, and other original rooms used by the Franciscan monks. The tasteful and sophisticated furnishings added to the historic charm of the place. The bar area and swimming pool were delightful, and our room, adorned with antiques, provided both modern comfort and a sense of history. Additionally, the location on the outskirts of town was perfect for me, as it was a short walk into town to get food and avoid driving on the left side of the road. The hotel's proximity to major routes also made it a convenient base for exploring the island. The staff were lovely, and the tranquil atmosphere, along with the presence of a friendly cat, made my stay here very restorative. I didn't want to leave!

I recently stayed at Convento De Sao Francisco for a few days and it was absolutely lovely. The hotel is located in a peaceful convent with stunning views of the sea, the island, and even the moon from the toilet! The building itself is stunning, with a beautiful conversion and wonderful furniture. The breakfast was superb, with local cheeses and fresh pineapple. The staff and guests were friendly, and I enjoyed exploring the structure which housed monks in the past. The room was spacious and clean, with a fireplace and a view of the small island. The hotel also has a nice pool area and even greenhouses growing pineapples. a truly special stay.

the former monastery turned hotel in vila franca do campo surpassed my expectations. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a guided tour and making me feel right at home. the spacious, comfortable rooms with ocean views and the healthy, delicious breakfasts made my stay truly memorable.
