The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and store our luggage. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a powerful and hot shower, tea/coffee making facilities, and a TV with English channels. The breakfast offered a good selection of fresh food. The amenities provided in the room were basic but sufficient. a great place to stay with attentive staff and a cozy atmosphere.

Food for breakfast could have been better, but it wasn't a major issue.

I had a great stay at Dom Joao Lisboa. the front desk staff, Maria and Zora, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dona Isabel from the restaurant even prepared an early breakfast for me before my tour departure. the size of the room and bathroom were impressive, and everything was very clean with plenty of toiletries. the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Metro, and there are some good restaurants in the main street nearby.

The room I stayed in faced the back of the hotel, which was right next to a hospital. There was a loud metal ramp for the car park exit that clanked regularly during the night, leading to disturbed sleep.
