The hotel's location in Madalena was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the canal between the islands of Pico and Faial. It felt like being in a postcard. The hotel's in-house bar offered a variety of refreshments, including the renowned Pico Wine. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a drink in a cozy atmosphere. The buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful experience. The selection was ample and the quality of the food was excellent. It was the perfect way to start the day. The comfortable guestrooms ensured a good night's sleep. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning, heating, and other amenities to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel had a swimming pool in the outdoor complex, which was perfect for taking a dip and cooling off during the hot days. It was also great to see that there were separate children's pools for younger guests to enjoy.

The hotel only had Wi-Fi available in the lobby. It would have been more convenient to have Wi-Fi in the rooms as well.

We had an amazing stay at Caravelas in Madalena! the hotel's location was perfect for whale watching and dolphin swimming, and it was right next to all the activities we wanted to do. We were thrilled to find that our room had a beautiful view of the pool from an upper floor. We spent countless hours on our balcony watching the ferries come and go from the Terminal Maritimo. the scenery with the giant rock on the way to Horta was also breathtaking. We were also delighted by the car parking facility and the delicious breakfasts, especially the local cheese. the staff was very accommodating and even made our room available early after our early flight from Lisbon. They even surprised us with a welcome basket of fruit.

We were celebrating our engagement and were pleasantly surprised when we found a bottle of champagne in our room, a thoughtful gesture from the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and the pool area is lovely. we had a very enjoyable stay at Caravelas.

Enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast, sipping soft drinks in the bar, and using the convenient facilities like 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and airport transfer. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere was extended to the outdoor pool and massage facilities.
