The location was perfect, right in the city center within easy walking distance of the historic center. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a really comfortable bed and lovely modern decor. I also appreciated the kitchenette in the room, it was a great convenience. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh squeezed orange juice and frothy nespresso coffee, and a great selection of mainly cold items that had such a tasty variety.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we appreciated the excellent location and the quiet surroundings. The reserved parking spaces at the hotel were a great convenience for us. The friendly and welcoming staff, especially Jessica Piedade, made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast had a good variety of foods and exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the old town, away from the busy center but only a couple of minutes' walk away from all the action the other side of the bridge. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the canal. The staff at the reception desk was really helpful and friendly, providing recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was satisfactory, offering a variety of Portuguese and quality products.

We had an amazing Easter break at this hotel! the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We loved the complementary cake and chocolates in the room. the location was perfect for exploring the town - we were just a short walk away from the canal and main street. the hotel also had an agreement with a nearby parking garage which made parking easy for us. the breakfast was delicious with a wide range of cooked food, pastries, cereal, fruits, and fresh orange juice. We really enjoyed the coffee machine as well!

The elevator which was the smallest we had ever seen. This made it quite difficult to move around between floors, especially with our luggage.

The value for the money at Das Salinas was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and recently refurbished. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the heart of downtown Aveiro and the water channels. The staff at the reception desk were incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. They even sold us discounted tickets for a boat trip. The continental breakfast had a good selection of Portuguese and quality products, like coffee and cutlery. The staff also gave us a parking card for the hotel street, which was really convenient since parking in the neighborhood was not free.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, right in the center on the canals, offering a great view of the city and easy access to the boats that go up-and-down the canals. It was also very close to the city center and the touristic area, making it convenient for exploring this charming city. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. They even surprised me with a bottle of local wine to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary. The breakfast was excellent, definitely the best I had during my time in Portugal.
