the river view from our room was absolutely stunning. we could have spent the whole day on the balcony. the staff was excellent and made our romantic getaway even more special. highly recommend Folgosa Douro for a perfect weekend escape.

The location of this hotel is phenomenal! It is situated right on the Douro river, offering stunning views. Additionally, it is just across the road from the DOC Michelin restaurant, allowing guests to enjoy a world-class dining experience without having to travel far. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The bathrooms are also great, with fantastic baths to relax in. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests.

One drawback of the hotel is the access to the reception, which is through a steep ramp. However, once guests see the incredible location and amenities, this minor inconvenience is quickly forgotten.

The view and landscapes were splendid. A great place to start the journey of gastronomic and oenological emotions. The staff was super caring, making me feel at home.

I absolutely loved everything at this hotel, I can't think of a single thing to complain about.

This hotel in Douro valley is a must-stay! The spacious rooms with comfortable beds and amazing river views are just perfect. The staff is friendly and professional, providing excellent service. The location is fantastic, with a terrace overlooking the river and just opposite a Michelin restaurant. And the breakfast, although on occasion served with cold coffee, offers a good start to the day.

This hotel is perfectly situated on the bank of the Douro River, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the river and the village across. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, with huge beds that ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or needs. The breakfast buffet is delicious, with a wide variety of choices. the hotel provides excellent facilities, such as a restaurant and a comfortable lounge area.

One drawback is that there is no elevator from the parking area, which means guests have to carry their luggage up some stairs.

The river view from our room was breathtaking and the beds were very comfortable. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby wine farms and restaurants, with easy parking available right outside the hotel.
