The value for money at Douro Hotel Porto Antigo was excellent, with a stunning room and beautiful views of the river. The location was peaceful and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is located in a very rural area, right on the banks of the River Douro. It offers a peaceful and idyllic setting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The Mosteiro railway station is very close by, making it convenient for exploring nearby towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amazing views of the river. The staff is polite and helpful, offering excellent service. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit and pastries.

My stay at Douro Hotel Porto Antigo was absolutely amazing. The breathtaking views of the river and mountains were unparalleled. The facilities were well-maintained and the on-site breakfast and lunch/dinner were delicious. The staff, especially Tiago in the restaurant, were exceptional and made me feel welcome. The local railway station was a convenient way to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience.

I did experience some connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi in my room, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. Additionally, I think the hotel could benefit from offering more activities considering its incredible location by the river.

We recently had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location right on the river was simply breathtaking. The views were incredible and provided a sense of tranquility in this remote area. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The room was lovely and had all the amenities we could want, including a mini-bar and in-room safe. The free Wi-Fi was also a bonus. We especially enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace, where we could relax and soak up the sun. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to all.

The lack of alternative dining options nearby. However, the restaurant on-site served delicious food and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals there.
